Northern Kentucky University and the Kentucky Community and Technical College System are joining forces for the online delivery of the Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership degree. Get your Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, or Associate in Applied Science degree at KCTCS and complete your bachelor degree in leadership online at NKU. This degree completion program focuses on the art of leadership, communication skills and workplace psychology, preparing you for responsible supervisory and administrative roles in today's complex and competitive world of work. The core requirements at NKU consist of 45 semester hours which include both specific courses and the area of concentration. The concentration may be designed by you and your advisor to enhance professional development or you may choose to take the online option in Web Development. This degree will prepare you for leadership positions in such fields as: Aviation, Building and Construction, Customer Service, Distribution, Health Care Operations, Human Resources, Information Technology Operations, Manufacturing Operations, and Public Service. This degree completion program consists of 15 courses. Active students may proceed at their own pace, taking as many or as few courses as they can handle.

Bachelor of Science in Workforce Leadership

The Leadership, Foundation and Human Resource Education (ELFH) department in the College and Education and Human Development at the University of Louisville offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Workforce Leadership. One of the special features of this program is awarding of specialization credit for students who have extensive, documented work experience (beyond entry level) in a teachable occupation or family of occupations. The specialization credit allows students to utilize past documented training in a given field and/or technical course work from accredited institutions as well as military, vocational and occupational experience and convert those skills into college credit. The ELFH department promotes and provides quality education and experiences in training and development. This is accomplished through excellence in service, scholarly inquiry and adherence to professional standards. The department concentrates on the urban community work force and military environments with Workforce Leadership program as it strives to meet the needs of human resource development in the business and/or military setting.

Leadership in the Public Sector is an online undergraduate degree completion program concentrating in leadership in non-market environments (such as local, state, and federal government organizations, and non-profit institutions). Students are provided with a liberal arts foundation in the ethical, theoretical, and policy analytical skills necessary to be effective leaders in public sector organizations. The program is ideal for students who are unable to attend campus-based classes due to geographic location, work schedules, or other life circumstances.
