Bachelor of Science in Fire Service Management The Bachelor of Science in Fire Science Management degree provides students with the principles, theory, and practices associated with leading edge fire science and management, to include issues associated with tactical fire operations, fire safety, firefighting leadership and management, and community fire issues, among many others. This degree is applicable to the fire services, and it is also useful as a foundation degree for application in other professions or further academic study.
Bachelors Degree in Fire & Safety Engineering Technology Eastern Kentucky University’s (EKU) fire science program can be completed while you work. Earning your bachelor’s degree will immediately put more money in your pocket and in your pension plan, not to mention, you’ll also be at the front of the line for promotions. If you are looking to improve your skills in Fire Administration, the 30 credit hour certificate program will teach you knowledge that can be immediately applied in the workplace. You may complete the certificate program without any prior college credit. EKU’s Fire & Safety faculty are nationally and internationally known for their teaching, research and dedication to the fire and safety fields. They are active in numerous professional organizations including the National Association of Fire Investigators, National Fire Protection Association, International Society of Fire Service Instructors, International Association of Arson Investigators and the International Association of Fire Chiefs and work closely with FEMA to establish standards of practice. The faculty is especially dedicated to student success and utilizes a hands-on approach to teaching.
Bachelor of Science in Fire Science The Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Science presents the theoretical foundations for leadership and administration of fire service organizations. Extending from a comprehensive curriculum of fire prevention and fire protection, the Bachelor of Science in Fire Science program takes a multi-professional approach to policy integration, management of organizations and human resources, and includes comprehensive academic preparation in specialized fire service equipment and apparatus applications. This course of studies also extends legal frameworks to applied fire service settings and context. Students earning a degree in Fire Science will embark on an educational path of professional development, transforming the fire service technical specialist to a leader in the profession.
Bachelor of Science in Fire Science The Bachelor of Science in Fire Science degree program is a dual-enrollment program in partnership with accredited community colleges using an on-line delivery system. Some requirements must be completed through an accredited community college. Students with an Associates of Applied Science in Fire Protection Technology from an accredited community colleges will apply directly to Fayetteville State University for admission.
