Bachelor of Science in Professional Counseling

The mission of the Professional Counseling program is to equip students with knowledge and skill necessary for professional counseling. Students will: be able to understand various theories and methods of counseling and critically evaluate them; demonstrate competence in diagnosis and treatment utilizing a biblical world view; be able to evaluate scientific research from a biblical world view; and be able to effectively utilize selected theories, techniques and methods for counseling.

Bachelor of Science in School Counseling

In this program you will be able to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Bible, a Master of Education degree, and PA state certification in a five-year program. This is accomplished by introducing graduate level courses in the junior and senior years of the undergraduate program. The fifth year would consist of all graduate-level courses.

The Counseling Bachelor degree program is designed to prepare students academically, professionally, and spiritually for quality educational and professional Christian service. The curriculum of this program helps students to understand the importance of spiritual concepts. Upon successfully completing of this program students will be able to demonstrate understanding of specialized areas of academic studies as measured by the successful completion of required courses in the minor specialization. After completing the program students should have the needed skills to work in professional fields such as church ministries, government services, non-profit organizations, and private or community mental health settings.
