Bachelor of Science in Business Accounting The accounting program is designed to provide knowledge and skills required to make successful accounting career. Core competencies in technology, critical thinking, and communication are emphasized throughout the curriculum. Technology, in particular, is embedded in all accounting courses. Students also have broad understanding of different business disciplines, including management, organizational behavior, economic, statistics, and finance, and learn how the general manager integrates these disciplines to meet the strategic goals of the organization. Approximately 24 months (based on continuous enrollment) are required to complete the accounting major and the other requirements for BSB required course of study. This undergraduate degree program has a 66-credit Required Course of Study: 51 credits are allocated to the Bachelor of Science in Business/Accounting Major, 12 credits to business entry coursework, and 3 credits to the integrating course. In addition to the Required Course of Study, students must satisfy General Education and Elective requirements to meet the 120 semester-credit minimums required for completion of the degree.
