Economics, both on a global and national scale, is an ever present and important element of everyday life. Those looking to pursue a degree in this field will find jobs in a range of corporations that are looking to refine and improve their strategies in the business market. While there is no guarantee of salary, many MBA level graduates in the field report annual salaries of $95,000 on average. These earnings come from careers in a wide range of industries from health care to traditional business. Positions may be available in business development, consulting, economic analysis and a range of other business related fields that may or may not be directly related to economics. Many graduates will find themselves poised to take on executive level positions for which they previously hadnít be qualified for. Like most business fields, economics can be a valuable and in-demand field to pursue, especially at the MBA level.
