Certificate Program in Biotechnology Technician Biotechnology Technician Certificate program is designed is to provide the student with the theory and hands-on experience necessary for an entry-level position as Biotechnology Technician. Throughout the program, students learn to perform experiments and assays, manufacture products and assist with research using a variety of technical skills. Moreover, the program prepares graduates for testing procedures, product manufacturing, material processing, monitoring and record keeping of Clinical Trails, equipment maintenance, inventory control, inspection techniques and use of standards for quality assurance, collection and evaluation of data, and assisting with research. Technicians also observe and document safe practices, communicate and document information, and assist in complying with government FDA regulations.
Advanced Certificate in Machine Tool Technology The Machine Tool Technology program provides training for entry-level positions in precision metalworking careers. Manual and computer numerical controlled (CNC) machines are used to develop trainee skills. This advanced curriculum provides the skills, principles and applications for a Journeyman Machinist. The advanced skills will concentrate on computer numerically controlled (CNC) machining and turning centers. Completion of The Associate of Applied Science in Machine Tool Technology is prerequisite for enrollment.
Associate in Applied Science in Mechanical Technology Electromechanical Technology is a specialty which concerns itself with the use of electronic and mechanical devices to control various manufacturing and/or industrial processes. Electromechanical Technology program offers Associate degrees in the Electrical and Fluid Power specialties. Electromechanical technicians are employed nationally in numerous diverse industries. Locally, electromechanical technicians are employed by those industries involved in the manufacture and processing of paper, plywood, particle-board and other forest products, steel or heavy machinery. The Electromechanical Technology program provides the theory and hands-on training needed to enter this occupation. Graduates are able to seek employment in a wide variety of well-paying industrial settings, where challenges and new learning experiences occur every day.
Associate in Applied Science in Machine Tool Technology The Machine Tool Technology program provides training for entry-level positions in precision metalworking careers. These courses are designed for entry-level employment in the operation of modern fossil fuel power plants, gas turbine facilities, water treatment facilities, or other facilities where steam and/or electricity is generated. Graduates will learn the technical and safety aspects of plant operations, the responsibilities of plant operators, and the mechanical and chemical technology needed for working in related industrial operations.

Students gain the skills and knowledge required for non-licensed operator, maintenance, chemistry, and health physics technician positions in nuclear generation systems. This program is also a great opportunity for present nuclear station employees in non-technical areas, and all employees who are seeking a degree and/or additional training. Developed in collaboration with EPCE nuclear industry partners, BSC's Nuclear Power Technology program is designed to help address the aging workforce and based on industry guidelines, with a direct link to nuclear fundamentals training.

Certificate Program in Computer Integrated Manufacturing Graduates of this program are prepared to enter manufacturing industries as technicians, engineering aides, production assistants, and quality control assistants. Manufacturing technologists inevitably will work with mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineers engaged in product or plant design and in production and quality control. With the accumulation of work experience, promotion to supervisory or applications specialist positions is often possible.
Associates Degree in Tool and Die Technology This program is designed for students holding a State of Ohio apprenticeship certificate in machine tools or a related area. Certificate holders shall be granted up to 24 semester credit hours towards the associate degree; the balance of the program shall consist of technology courses and general requirements specified by the Ohio Board of Regents.
