Degree & Programs In Engineering Field
Associate of Science in Engineering The Associate of Science in Engineering degree program is designed to provide students with a broad-based education for further transfer to a four-year college or university for further study. The program includes the courses of general engineering as well as provides basics of electrical and computer engineering. The program curriculum will be beneficial for students wishing to pursue career in the engineering field.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering The Bachelor of Science in Engineering program is a design-oriented curriculum that incorporates topics that span the foundations of engineering disciplines. The students enrolled in this program select courses for a specialization track that best suits their needs. Thus, the curriculum of the program can custom fit a student’s education with the needs of the community and industry. Graduates of the program will be prepared for the variety of career in the engineering with specializations depending on the concentration option chosen.
Master of Engineering in Quality and Reliability Engineering The Master of Engineering (MEng) online degree program offers an area of study in Quality & Reliability Engineering. This track offers specialized courses founded on basic engineering and statistics principles that are central to improving quality, reliability, and achieving meaningful business results in today's modern business organizations. The program is designed to prepare graduates for a wide spectrum of opportunities in product and service realization, including engineering design, product and process development, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, and supply chain operations. Students will learn about how modern statistical and engineering techniques are deployed in a wide range of industrial and business settings. They will also learn the basic underlying methodology so that they can develop novel solutions to problems that are unique to their own environment. Students can also design a program of study and also receive a Six Sigma Black Belt Professional Certification in addition to their graduate degree.
Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering The B.A.S. degree in Applied Engineering at Bemidji State University is offered to students either completely online or as a traditional campus degree program. The program is beneficial for individuals who have an interest in engineering related career fields. The degree has been specifically designed to provide an opportunity to build directly upon an individual’s past education if they possess either a certificate, diploma or 2-year technical degree. Individuals who do not have prior college level education will also be able to complete degree requirements, but may need to complete some technical courses on campus. Course work is relevant and practical to a wide range of workplace settings connected with engineering activities. It builds upon a student’s technical expertise as well as past and current work experience to enhance their competencies in engineering types of activities found in a wide range of business and industry. Completion of the degree will to open doors of opportunity for professional advancement and leadership positions.
Certificate Program in Process Operations Management This Process Operations Management Certificate program introduces methodology and tools to improve the technical management of process operations including process modeling, simulation, monitoring, control and optimization. Students must take four courses (12 credits) to receive the certificate.
Associate in Applied Science in General Manufacturing The General Manufacturing major prepares students for employment as engineering technicians at the operations level in manufacturing industries having a concentration in computer applications. Technicians assist in the design and implementation of manufacturing process systems that include numerical control equipment, computer aided part programming, computer aided manufacturing, factory automation, and flexible manufacturing cells and systems.
Masters Degree in Engineering The Master of Engineering degree (non-thesis) is offered through a partnership among the engineering colleges of Northern Arizona University, The University of Arizona, and Arizona State University. The partnership degree program promotes students to take courses from all three universities, offering flexible course delivery formats, an opportunity to design a program of study, and a practice-oriented project option. NAU offers Master of Engineering degree in environmental engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. Non-traditional program is available in technical engineering management, transportation, embedded systems, and water resources. In addition, students may customize a plan of study, specific to their education needs, to complement their professional practices.
Courses in Engineering UA Engineering courses can be applied toward the Tri-University Master of Engineering degree that can be completed entirely at a distance. You can choose from a wide range of Engineering courses: Mechanics of Solids, Computer Architecture and Design, Knowledge-System Engineering, Financial Management for Engineers, Fundamentals of Mine Ventilation, Rock Excavation, Disease and Illness in Mining, Surface Mine Design, Underground Mine Design, Surface Chemistry of Flotation, Underground Construction Geomechanics, Mechanics of Fracture in Rock and Other Brittle Material, Survey Optimization Methods, and Acquisition and Financing of Mineral Projects.
